The 75th issue of our community newspaper "Schalom" has now been published and offers exciting insights into the life of the synagogue community in Magdeburg. In this issue, readers can expect reports on important events, from the Hanukkah celebrations to moving moments such as the meeting with the Jewish community in Dessau. The issue also contains reports on the terrorist attack on Magdeburg's Christmas market and the associated thoughts and wishes for a peaceful future.
The personal touch is not neglected either: members of the community share their stories and memories, and there are many interesting contributions that enrich cultural life. Particularly noteworthy is the coverage of the literary event with the well-known poet and writer Evgeny Breyger as well as the moving memories of the life and work of our community members.
