I would like to tell you a little more about the library in our community...
In 2005, three active members of the community, Maija Koslowitsch, Mery Makijewskaja and Galina Twerskaja sel. A., decided to renew the work of the library on a voluntary basis. They put the bookshelves in order, carried out an inventory of the book collections and systematically arranged the books on the shelves.
Today, we have more than 2,700 books on a wide range of subjects, including the history of the State of Israel, the history of the Jewish people, religious literature, fiction by well-known authors and books in German and Russian.
The book collection is constantly growing through the acquisition of new literature and book donations from members of the community.
Thanks to the friendly and warm atmosphere in the library, a close-knit group of readers has developed, which now has 150 members. On the opening days of the library, Monday, Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., people now come here not only to exchange books, but also to talk about a wide variety of current topics and life's concerns. Ms. Koslowitsch and Ms. Oleksiuk are currently in charge of the library.
