New issue of the community newspaper: Jewish life in Magdeburg - remembering, celebrating, telling stories
The July 2025 issue (Aw 5785) of the community newspaper of the Magdeburg synagogue community has been published - rich in history, personal memories and current reports. As always, it offers a fascinating mix of religious reflections, culture and lively community.
A special focus is placed on the Shavuot festival, the significance of which is explained by Rabbi Zeev-Wolf Rubins with a deep theological background. The newspaper also commemorates 80 years since the end of the Second World War - with moving biographies of Jewish veterans from the region.
